Passing away of former President, Don Weerakody
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Don Weerakody, former President of the Buddhist Council of Western Australia, on 11th July 2024. Don’s contributions have benefited many people who were touched by the teachings in Buddhism. Don was also a President and a Treasurer at the Buddhist Society of Western Australia.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Don’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing them during this difficult time. May Don find peace and enlightenment, and may their memory be a blessing to us all.
