Buddhist Council of WA shared Barry Kerzin’s post.
Soon another year is coming to an end. We are continually moving closer to our death. Often we do not recognize this fact of life and death. For many of us, there is some confidence that this is not the end, rather the end of one life in a stream of many, maybe infinite lives. Still what will come in the next life is uncertain. It is determined by our actions of body, speech, and mind we do right now. So for 2018 let’s make a new year’s resolution to work hard at positive behavior, words, and thoughts. No guilt when we miss the mark. Rejoice in our efforts, and have gratitude for even the next breath. Happy New Year to all! Emaho!
