Vesak 2026: A Season of Compassion and Unity in Western Australia ☸️✨
On behalf of the Buddhist Council of WA, we wish our entire community a deeply peaceful and Happy Vesak.
Vesak is the most sacred time of our calendar, marking the birth, enlightenment, and passing of the Buddha. As celebrations take place throughout Western Australia from April to June, we reflect on the values of mindfulness and loving-kindness that define our path.
We are a diverse community, and our strength lies in our inclusion. We are proud to see the Buddhist faith recognised at the highest levels of government as a vital thread in the cultural fabric of WA.
