Live Export statement

The Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils have released the following statement on the Live Export issue:

The Buddhist community of Australia believes that the live export of animals for slaughter is needless and cruel, and we call for an immediate and permanent ban on this trade. Read more »

Australian Sangha meet in Perth

The Australian Sangha Association is an association of Australian Buddhist monks and nuns. The purpose of the ASA is to serve the needs of all Buddhist monks and nuns resident in Australia, without interfering in the internal affairs of any temple or monastery.
